3 Viñerones

3 Viñerones is a project founded in Rioja, in 2015, by three friends: Javier García (4 Monos), Nacho Jiménez (La Tintorería), and Carlos Sánchez. United by a shared passion for a style and philosophy of winemaking —based on respect for the land, its people, and their way of working the vineyards— they created a collaborative project.

It all began with the opportunity to produce a wine, La Esquirla del Bardallo, from an exceptional vineyard located in the village of San Vicente de la Sonsierra, in Rioja Alta, in a unique area known as El Bardallo.
Years later, the project gave birth to its second wine: Sedal.

Canek

Canek is a creation by Sergio Mujico Durán (sommelier and owner of Calcáreo Wine Bar in Bilbao) and Carlos Sánchez. It is a red wine made from garnacha and tempranillo grown in Cihuri, in a little-known yet magical area at the foothills of the Montes Obarenes.

The vineyards are 90-year-old bush-trained vines planted at altitude. Harvesting is entirely manual, and fermentation is spontaneous, using the wild yeasts naturally present on the grape skins.
